SEX OFFENDER COMPLIANCE SECTION

The Sex Offender Compliance Division oversees and coordinates between 180-200 registered sex offenders residing in St. Mary Parish. In 2020, this section conducted 336 compliance checks, going door to door making contact with each offender at their registered address to ensure they are meeting state requirements. 13 sex offenders were arrested for failing to comply with those laws.
