New Branch Office Project
New SMPSO Central Branch Office - Coming Soon to Centerville, Louisiana
A New Era of Service for St. Mary Parish
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office (SMPSO) is excited to announce the construction of a new Central Branch Office, located along Highway 90 West, just before the Centerville/Burns Point Exit in Centerville, Louisiana. This strategic location will serve as a key hub for our operations, providing enhanced service to the community and consolidating vital divisions under one roof.
Key Features of the New Branch Office
This new facility will house:
- Criminal Division
- Motor Pool
- Investigations Division
- Patrol Division
- Administrative Offices
- Evidence Processing Area
- Media Room.
- Dispatch Working Area
Currently, these departments are located in separate facilities. By bringing them together into one centralized location, we will:
- Improve communication and coordination between divisions
- Streamline operations and administrative processes
- Enhance efficiency in investigations and patrol services
- Updated equipment that will enhance the services of the SMPSO
This consolidation will benefit both the Sheriff's Office and the residents of St. Mary Parish, ensuring a higher level of professionalism and service.
Request for Qualification (RFQ)
In accordance with RS 38:2225.2.4, we are inviting submissions for Pre-construction and Construction Management at Risk Services for the new facility. This project will support our goal of creating a state-of-the-art law enforcement substation that meets the evolving needs of the community.
