St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Dantavius Rodrigue Butler, 20, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 28, 2025, at 1:41 am on the following charges:

• Resisting arrest or officer
• Driver must be licensed
• Proper equipment required on vehicles
• Failure/owner secure registration
• Switched license plate/stolen license plate
• View outward and inward of window
• Careless operation

 

Bail was set at $4,500.

 

Tra'vanna Nechelle Singleton, 20, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 28, 2025, at 3:15 am for cruelty to a juvenile, criminal trespass, and home invasion. Bail was set at $7,500.
