St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Calvin Jones Jenkins, 66, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2025, at 12:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Jenkins was released on a $500 bond.

 

Mathew Heilser, 28, Monroe, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2025, at 12:42 pm for possession of schedule II drugs. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Trent Little, 23, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 12, 2025, at 6:01 pm for stop signs/yield signs and possession of schedule I (Heroin). Bail has not been set at this time.
