Arrest Report- March 7, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jeremiah Thomas Singleton, 23, Amelia, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2025, at 1:54 pm for a restraining order violation. Singleton continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Wynn Candler Whitehurst, 49, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2025, at 3:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

  • Possession of a firearm or carrying concealed weapon by convicted felon
  • Possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
  • Obstruction of justice-tampering
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal use/possession/control or weapons-crime of violence

Bail was set at $55,000.

 

Jarett Reed, 30, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2025, at 8:49 pm for open container and driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $3,500.

 

Dung H. Cenac, 28, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2025, at 9:01 pm for theft. Bail was set at $1,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Gary Paul Vining, 56, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2025, at 3:24 pm on an MCPD warrant for the charge of criminal mischief-tampering with property. Bail was set at $500.
