St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Wilson Jovon Jackson, 43, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2025, at 12:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of driving under suspension and improper headlights. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Scotty Allen Pellerin, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2025, at 4:32 pm on three warrants for failure to appear for the following charges:

• Theft of less than $1,000
• Entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden
• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of synthetic cannabinoids

Bail has not been set at this time.
