St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 60 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Semaj Jaqualyn Douglas, 19, Patterson, LA, was arrested on February 25, 2025, at 10:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Joseph Daniels Jr., 28, was arrested on February 25, 2025, at 8:25 pm for no taillights, possession of schedule II (cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Arthur Collins, 54, was arrested on February 25, 2025, at 6:46 pm for the following charges:

• Turn signals required
• Suspended driver's license
• Resisting an officer
• Possession of crack cocaine

Bail has not been set at this time.
