St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Derrick Matthews Turner, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 20, 2025, at 6:34 am on a warrant for battery-aggravated and assault-aggravated. Bail has not been set at this time.
