St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 50 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Hanisha La'trice Azema, 24, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2025, at 4:24 pm on a Louisiana Department of Public Safety warrant for arson with intent to defraud and criminal conspiracy. Bail was set at $17,500.

 

Raymond Javon Hayward, 36, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on February 4, 2025, at 12:38 am for the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamines
• Driving under suspension
• Improper lane usage
• Open container
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• No child restraint (3 counts)
• Possession of CDS in the presence of a person under 17
• Baldwin P.D. warrant for shoplifting

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

William David Dycus II, 40, Vidor, TX, was arrested on February 3, 2025, at 2:04 pm on the following charges:

 

• Driving while intoxicated
• Open container
• Resisting officer by flight
• Possession of schedule I drugs

NARCOTICS SECTION

Dillon Gavin, 33, Amelia, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2025, at 5:53 pm on the following charges:

• Window tint
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule I (Hallucinogens)
• Illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a CDS
