St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyrese Hines, 25, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 15, 2025, at 6:29 pm on a Louisiana Bureau of Investigation warrant for the charge of pornography involving children under the age of thirteen (30 counts).

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Detectives with the Narcotics Section assisted the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation in executing a search warrant on Cayce Street in Franklin. During the search, detectives made contact with Hines, who held an active warrant through the LBI.

Detectives placed Hines under arrest for the warrant and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Hines is being held for another agency.

Sheriff Gary Driskell acknowledged the work of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on this case.
