Arrest Report- January 10, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 109 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Danny Michael Fulks Jr., 39, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 8, 2025, at 10:16 am for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and disturbing the peace by language. Bail was set at $11,500.

 

Olivia Rene Prado, 30, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 8, 2025, at 8:21 pm for entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden and possession of schedule II drugs. Bail was set at $7,500.

 

Jordyn Ray McCoy, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2025, at 12:58 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
  • Illegal use/poss/control of weapons-crime of violence
  • Transactions involving drug proceeds, battery of a police officer, violation of uniform CDS law in drug-free zone
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Window tint/obscuring winshield/window view
  • Operating a vehicle with an expired license plate

McCoy also held a warrant out of Alabama for failure to appear on the charge of breaking and entering a vehicle. Bail has not been set at this time and a hold has been placed on McCoy for another agency.

 

Chase Augustin Paul Dugas, 41, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on January 8, 2025, at 3:25 pm on a warrant for cyberstalking/electronic mail. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION


Dewan Edmond, 20, Charenton, LA, was arrested on January 9, 2025, at 8:41 pm on the following charges:

  • Failure to signal 100 feet prior
  • Obstruction of justice
  • Possession of schedule I with the intent to distribute (marijuana)
  • Child restraint system (2 counts)
  • Possession of CDS in the presence of juveniles (2 counts)
  • Aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
    Bail was set at $20,000.
