St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lisa Ann Crochet Powell, 65, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2024, at 2:59 pm for the charges of false accounting, theft (over $25,000), and malfeasance in office. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Stephanie Marie Harvey, 45, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2024, at 7:52 pm for theft by shoplifting. Harvey was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Tyson Roshawn Alexander, 42, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2024, at 10:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

• Possession of a schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
• Resisting an officer, failure to obey traffic control signal
• Operating a motor vehicle not covered by security
• Operating a vehicle with an expired driver's license

Bail has not been set at this time.
