St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Dean Joseph Beranek, 38, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 16, 2024, at 2:48 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Beranek was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

Juan Carlos Salinos Lara, 21, Amelia, LA, was arrested on December 16, 2024, at 1:05 pm on two warrants for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Josh Jovan Lockett, 42, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 16, 2024, at 3:36 pm on a Lafayette Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II CDS and resisting arrest. Locket is being held for another agency.
