St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Cameron Nicholas Strother, 24, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 10, 2024, at 7:34 am for battery of a correctional officer. Strother remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law
Enforcement Center.

 

Kevin John Guillot Jr., 38, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2024, at 6:02 pm for theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Thomas Wayne Giroir, 34, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2024, at 3:58 am for domestic abuse battery, domestic abuse-child endangerment law, and disturbing the peace- intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Derrick Wayne Richardson, 24, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on December 12, 2024, at 1:36 pm on two warrants for failure to appear for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $3,971.
