St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jhaviana Kior Welch, 31, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 10, 2024, at 7:34 am for false imprisonment. Welch was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Bobby D'Angelo Jackson, 37, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 10, 2024, at 10:04 pm for possession of crack cocaine, disturbing the peace by language, and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $6,750.

 

Brittany Nicole Crouch, 38, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2024, at 12:43 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule IV CDS (Alprazolam) and illegal use, consumption, possession, or distribution of CDS in the presence of persons under 17. Crouch was released on a $5,000 bond.
