St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 52 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Lawrence Weston, 52, Berwick, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2024, at 11:23 am on two Morgan City Police Department warrants for failure to appear on the charges of stop signs/yield signs and no insurance. Weston was released on a paid fine.

Michael Richard, 37, Lake Charles, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2024, at 1:46 pm for driving while intoxicated. Richard was released on a $2,500 bond.
