St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 96 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 168 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

David Wade Woods Jr., 39, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 30, 2024, at 6:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of protective order felony and criminal damage to property-aggravated. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Gerald Vaughn Dupas, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2024, at 2:09 pm for battery-simple. Dupas remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Kesler Yoan Suazo, 31, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2024, at 11:26 pm on a warrant for cruelty to a juvenile. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kevin Elroy Jarvis, 49, Sulphur, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 5:17 pm on the following charges:

• Reckless operation with accident
• Littering
• Open container
• Driving while intoxicated

Jarvis was released on a $4,500 bond.

 

Noah Charles Johnson, 47, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 11:03 pm for misdemeanor sexual battery. Johnson was released on a $12,000 bond.

 

Melvin Derrick Bell, 50, Byram, MS, was arrested on November 28, 2024, at 7:40 pm on the following charges:

• Reckless operation/no accident
• Public intimidation of public official
• Open container
• Driving while intoxicated
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Assault-simple
• Driving under suspension

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Skyler Jarkies Forest Louis, 22, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 30, 2024, at 3:09 am for disturbing the peace-intoxicated, impersonating a police officer, and criminal trespass. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Iylan Lee Groves, 18, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 30, 2024, at 3:31 pm for disturbing the peace-language, contributing to deliquency of a juvenile, and resisting arrest or officer. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kaleb Woods Meadows, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 1, 2024, at 11:07 pm for domestic abuse aggravated battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Earl Landry, Jr, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 10:28 am for criminal conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal facility. Landry was released on a $5,000 bond.
