St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 48 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 78 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Asia Demari Richardson, 22, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 8:25 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and speeding. Richardson was released on a $750 bond.
Theopholia Thomas, 55, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 10:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail has not been set at this time.
William Warren Butler, 37, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 25, 2024, at 10:12 am on an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office warrant. Butler was released on a judicial release.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Joseph James, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2024, at 8:00 pm for introduction of contraband into a penal institution. James remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Tajae Taylor, 21, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 9:00 pm for introduction of contraband into a penal institution and inciting a felony. Taylor remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Craig Robinson, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 9:01 pm for introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Robinson remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Renata Taylor, 41, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 5:02 pm for introduction of contraband into a penal institution, display of temporary registration-license plate, and window tint. Bail has been set at $25,500.
Charnise Safford, 46, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2024, at 4:50 pm for introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Bail has been set at $100,000.
