St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24 -hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Carlos Wayne Joseph, 34, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 20, 2024, at 12:04 am on a warrant for battery of a dating partner. Bail has not been set at this time.

NARCOTICS SECTION

Jose Cano, 40, Berwick, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2024, at 4:41 pm for possession of schedule II (methamphetamine). Bail has not been set at this time.
