St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Edgar Roberto Vaquera, 35, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2024, at 8:04 pm for assault-aggravated and battery of a dating partner. Bail has not been set at this time.

Jason Arlen Deville, 43, Schriever, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2024, at 10:54 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $7,500.

Jeffery Mark Lejeune, 60, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2024, at 3:33 pm for possession of pornography involving juvenile(s). Bail has not been set at this time.
