St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 50 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ally Elizabeth Inez Stansbury, 20, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 10:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of speeding.  Stansbury was released on a $500 bond.

 

Luke Anthony Gros, 19, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of reckless operation of a vehicle, stalking, and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $12,500.

 

Amanda Gail Soudelier, 47, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 11:31 pm for possession of schedule IV drugs with intent to distribute and introduction of contraband-penal institution. Bail was set at $8,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Travis Theopolis Sophus, 40, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 1:37 pm on three warrants for the following charges:

• Battery of a dating partner
• Window tint violation
• Possession of schedule I drugs
• Possession of firearm by person convicted of domestic violence battery
• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by person convicted of certain felonies

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Dereke Jerome Guilbeau Jr., 27, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 8:15 am on a warrant for illegal carrying of a weapon. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Irving Phillips Jr., 39, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 7:49 am on a warrant for distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of CDS in drug-free zone. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Edward Stanley, 70, Berwick, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 7:19 am on a warrant for distribution/possession with intent to distribute (marijuana). Bail was set at $25,000.

 

Edward Trimm Jr., 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 10:16 am on a warrant for distribution of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $55,000.

 

Darryl Grogan, 61, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 6:20 am on a warrant for possession with intent to distribute marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Hebert Brown, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 7:13 am on a warrant for turning movements required, possession of marijuana, and obstruction of justice. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Rashon A. Jones, 21, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2024, at 8:06 am on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. Bail has not been set at this time.
