St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jaron Flynn Foret, 31, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 26, 2024, at 7:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Bail has not been set at this time.

Carey Lyn Thomas, 53, Berwick, LA, was arrested on September 26, 2024, at 7:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Bail has not been set at this time.
