St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 104 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Carlos Lopez, 51, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2024, at 6:47 pm for driving while intoxicated, driver must be licensed, and open container. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Travis Lee Gilmore, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 15, 2024, at 10:27 pm on the following charges:

• Disturbing the peace by language
• Self-mutilation by a prisoner
• Criminal damage to property-attempted
• Criminal damage to property-simple
• Resisting a police officer with force
• Cruelty to animals
• Assault-simple

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Troy Scott Rosson, 44, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 15, 2024, at 11:12 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamine
• Possession of marijuana
• Operating a vehicle with an expired license plate
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled

Bail has not been set at this time.
