St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Ronald Paul Hawkins Jr., 41, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 4, 2024, at 6:21 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Possession of synthetic cannabinoids
• Possession of schedule I drugs
• Possession of firearm in presence of CDS

Hawkins was released on a $10,000 bond.
