St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jordon Avery Steele, 44, Berwick, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2024, at 11:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $1,000.

 

Gaston O'Bryan Williams, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2024, at 3:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the following charges:

• Resisting a police officer with force or violence
• Possession of marijuana
• Resisting an officer
• Possession of drug paraphernalia 

Bail has not been set at this time.
