St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Christian Scott Douglas Campbell, 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 26, 2024, at 8:18 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, and operating a vehicle without a driver's license. Bail has not been set at this time.

Candice Lee Ross, 38, Berwick, LA, was arrested on August 27, 2024, at 12:03 am for two Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrants for failure to appear for the charges of possession of firearm/carrying concealed weapon by a convicted felon and possession of schedule IV CDS.  Ross is being held for another agency.
