St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Deanna Irene Lutcher, 59, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on August 21, 2024, at 11:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of theft. Lutcher was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Ronald Joseph Morale Jr., 36, Breaux Bridge, LA, was arrested on August 22, 2024, at 5:19 am for the following charges:

• Maximum speed limit
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Taylor Tharp, 30, Maurice, LA, was arrested on August 21, 2024, at 2:33 pm on an Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear. Tharp is being held for another agency.

 

 

Tyler Meco Mathis, 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 21, 2024, at 2:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.
