St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Joseph James, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2024, at 7:48 pm on the following charges:

• No MVI
• No insurance
• Improper display
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of schedule II (Methamphetamine)

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Ashlee Allan Miller Sr., 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 19, 2024, at 7:48 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II (Methamphetamine)
• Possession of schedule I (Synthetic Marijuana)
• Possession of schedule I (Heroin)
• Possession of schedule II (Fentanyl)
• Entering contraband into a penal institution

Bail was set at $257,500.
