St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 161 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Thai Ty Quang, 53, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2024, at 4:14 pm for domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Candice Nicole Norman, 34, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 17, 2024, at 8:13 pm for theft and on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of theft. Bail was set at $4,500.

 

Eric Joseph Fontenot, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 17, 2024, at 8:14 pm for domestic abuse battery, unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling, and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $17,000.

 

Eric Lee Fontenot, 17, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 17, 2024, at 8:25 pm for battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace by language, and interfering with a law enforcement investigation. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

Yunior Nahin Nazar-Garcia, 28, Amelia, LA, was arrested on August 17, 2024, at 9:54 pm for domestic abuse battery by strangulation. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Roscoe Lamar Sasnett, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2024, at 3:34 pm on the following charges:

• Domestic abuse child endangerment law (2 counts)
• Open container
• Disturbance
• Expired or no inspection sticker
• Domestic abuse battery

Bail was set at $16,500.

 

Timothy Wayne Tindell, 50, Ricohoc, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2024, at 2:21 pm for obstruction of justice-tampering. Bail was set at $500.

 

Adrianna Daigle Duhon, 43, Centerville, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2024, at 7:41 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Duhon was released on a $2,500 bond.
