St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 47 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lamonta Lavont Skinner, 20, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 12, 2024, at 2:22 pm for failure to register as a sex offender. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Anthony Dequinton Gant, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 13, 2024, at 9:34 pm for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kristi Lynn Simmons, 39, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 13, 2024, at 9:34 pm for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail has been set at $1,000.
