St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tina Michelle Berrios, 49, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on July 11, 2024, at 11:01 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Resisting an officer by providing false information
• Exploitation of the infirmed
• Forgery

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Brittany Nicole Mitchell, 33, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on July 11, 2024, at 5:07 pm on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,000.

 

Joey Jermaine Francois, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 11, 2024, at 8:02 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for speeding, operating a vehicle without driver's license, and failure to maintain automobile liability insurance. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shawna Marie Hebert, 30, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 12, 2024, at 1:32 am for driving while intoxicated and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Hebert was released on a $3,000 bond.
