St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 61 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jaylon Anthony Randle, 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 9, 2024, at 7:07 pm on the following charges:

• Obstruction to driver's view
• View outward and inward of window
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule V
• Illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a CDS

Randle was released on a $6,000 bond.

 

Joshua Stephenson, 29, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 10, 2024, at 8:39 pm for criminal damage to property-attempted, disturbing the peace-language, and domestic abuse battery by strangulation. Bail was set at $12,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Loreal Miller, 36, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on July 9, 2024, at 7:07 pm for possession of schedule II (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has been set at $3,500.

 

Gary Lee Durden, 50, Gibson, LA, was arrested on July 9, 2024, at 12:56 pm on a 32nd JDC warrant for for the charge of racketeering. Durden continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
