St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Steven Randy Sullivan, 48, Millbrook, AL, was arrested on June 12,

• Burglary-simple
• Theft
• Assault-simple
• Resisting arrest or officer

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Michaela Elizabeth Legendre, 28, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 12, 2024, at 11:42 pm on the following charges:

• Cruelty to juveniles-second degree
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule II drugs
• Possession of schedule III drugs
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

On June 12, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a medical facility in Morgan City in reference to a juvenile who had possibly consumed THC. Upon arrival, deputies began an investigation of the incident, and detectives were called in to investigate further. Subsequently, a search warrant was obtained for the residence where Michaela Legendre lives. Upon execution of the warrant, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located.

Detectives transported Legendre to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $110,500.

 

Jeremy Tucker, 38, Gray, LA, was arrested on June 12, 2024, at 2:48 pm on a St. James Parish warrant. Tucker is being held for another agency.

 

Joey Peter Ougel Jr., 50, Branch, LA, was arrested on June 12, 2024, at 7:15 am for domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.
