Arrest Report - April 25, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Craig Colbert, 52, 407 Big Four Corners Road, Four Corners, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 11:11 am for violation of protective orders. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Four Corners. While speaking with the subjects involved, the deputy found evidence that Colbert went onto the property in violation of a protective order. Colbert was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Colbert was released after posting a $2,500 bond.

 

Ivory Williams, Jr., 45, 1012 ½ Friendship Lane #6, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 10:49 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of hydrocodone. A deputy conducting a traffic stop for speeding on US Highway 90 in Berwick identified the driver as Williams and located the active warrant for his arrest. Williams was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $15,000.

 

Stafford Starks, Jr., 18, 500 Martin Luther King Road, Baldwin, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 12:32 pm on a Franklin Police Department warrant for aggravated battery, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. A deputy located Starks at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Rodney Granger, 23, 543 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 4:01 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of flight from an officer, reckless operation of a vehicle, and unlawful operation of an off-road vehicle. Granger was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without a driver’s license on person. A correctional officer transported Granger from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $750.

 

Raymon Jones, 28, 526 Pesson Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 12:33 pm on a warrant for simple battery. A correctional officer transported Jones from the Jeanerette Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. The warrant was issued following an investigation into a battery. The deputy collected evidence that Jones pushed a juvenile male victim multiple times during an argument with a female subject. No bail is set.

 

Wayne Clark, 43, 165 Lenny’s Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on April 24, 2017 at 10:45 pm for disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Amelia. While speaking with the subjects involved, Clark began yelling causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. Clark was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Clark was released on a $1,000 bond.
