Arrest Report September 24, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

A juvenile male, 15, and a juvenile male, 12, both of Franklin were arrested on September 23, 2014 at 8:05 am for simple battery. A school resource officer investigating a complaint of a fight learned that the two juveniles struck a 16 year old juvenile male while on a school bus. Both juveniles were released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Juvenile male, 16, (no city/town available), was arrested on September 23, 2014 at 9:44 am for simple battery of a school teacher. A school resource officer investigating a complaint of battery at the St. Mary Parish Alternative School learned that the juvenile struck a teacher. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Jose Pacheco Dozzetti, 25, 1602 Barrow Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 23, 2014 at 9:49 am for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery that occurred in a vehicle in the lake Palourde Road area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Pacheco pushed a female victim during an argument. The deputy transported Pacheco to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Hamilton Navy, 17, 2035 Chitimacha Trail, Baldwin, LA and Thaddeus Gabriel, 18, 214 Rosebud Street, Baldwin, LA were arrested on September 23, 2014 at 1:25 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting). A school resource officer assigned to West St. Mary High School responded to a complaint of a fight in the gym. The deputy learned during the investigation that the two subjects engaged in a physical altercation during an argument. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and later released on a $500 bond.

 

Gregory Jackson, 25, 2475 Seventieth Street, Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on September 23, 2014 at 4:52 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy transported Jackson from the East Baton Rouge Parish prison to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrant. Bail is set at $6,628.81.

 

Christopher Oubre, Jr., 19, 153 Highway 182 East, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 23, 2014 at 11:38 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana second offense and failure to stop at a stop sign. A deputy booking Oubre at the parish jail learned of the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Brandon Berger, 36, 421 Charlotte Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 24, 2014 at 5:36 am for the following charges:

- Possession of Schedule IV(clonazepam and alprazolam) with intent to distribute

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse)

- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana) second offense

- Careless operation of a motor vehicle

A deputy responded to a vehicle crash on LA Highway 317 in Centerville. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a driver, identified as Berger. While speaking with Berger, the deputy learned that he drove off of the roadway and struck a parked vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located over 60 Vyvanse, clonazepam, and alprazolam pills inside the vehicle. Marijuana and several small plastic baggies were also located. The deputy transported Berger to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
