Arrest Report - April 7, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Martin Robertson, 29, 4274 Highway 83, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 6, 2017 at 11:16 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to carry vehicle registration certificate and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrants for Robertson’s arrest. No bail is set.

 

Jill Vining, 38, 533 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 6, 2017 at 12:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy investigating a complaint of a suspicious subject on Teche Road encountered Vining and located the active warrant for her arrest. Vining was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $1,715.

 

Deidre Martin, 43, 724 Prairie Road North, Centerville, LA was arrested on April 7, 2017 at 11:14 pm for battery of a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Garden City area observed a subject walking in the roadway on Highway 182. The deputy made contact with the subject and identified her as Martin. As the deputy spoke with Martin, she yelled an expletive, pushed the deputy, and fled on foot. The deputy apprehended Martin and located several items of drug paraphernalia on her person including syringes and plastic baggies containing a white residue suspected of being illegal drugs. Martin was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $4,000.

 

Tanner Rivere, 25, 103 Randall Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on April 7, 2017 at 12:37 am on 2 Assumption Parish warrants for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary. While conducting a traffic stop on Highway 90 in Berwick, a deputy made contact with Rivere and located the active warrants for his arrest. Rivere was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
