Arrest Report - March 23, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Dominique Joseph, 24, 416 Morris Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on march 22, 2017 at 11:27 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and following too closely. Joseph turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. A deputy transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Joseph was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Female juvenile, 16, Centerville, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 2:32 pm for battery of a school teacher and disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Albriela Jackson, 18, 771 Deforest Brown Lane, Apt. #26, Centerville, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 12:43 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Female juvenile, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on march 22, 2017 at 2:51 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Female juvenile, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 1:50 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

School resource officers responded to report of a fight at Centerville High School. The deputy spoke with the subjects involved and collected evidence of a fight between 2 juvenile females and a fight between Jackson and a juvenile female in a hallway. When school personnel intervened, one of the juvenile females struck one of the school employees. Jackson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. She was released on a recognizance bond. The 3 juvenile females were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Trent A. Marcelle, 30, 1901 Lafayette Street, Gretna, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 1:43 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responded to a request for assistance from a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Agent in stopping a driver that was operating a vehicle recklessly. The deputy located the vehicle in the Calumet area where the driver had been stopped by the agent and a Patterson Police Officer. The deputy learned from the agent that the driver, Marcelle, drove through a construction zone at a high rate of speed. Marcelle then entered a construction area by marked by traffic cones causing his truck to throw dirt and dust onto other vehicles traveling on the roadway. Marcelle was released on a summons to appear in court on June 13, 2017.

 

Jonathon Ashley, 28, 5711 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on march 22, 2017 at 4:58 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy investigating a 2 vehicle crash on Highway 182 in the Patterson area collected statements indicating that one of the drivers, Ashley, was operating a vehicle in a reckless manner causing the crash. Ashley was released on a summons to appear in court on June 13, 2017.

 

Rodney Frederick, 58, 330 David Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 5:12 pm on a warrant for aggravated incest and aggravated crime against nature. On March 21, 2017, detectives received a report of molestation of a juvenile. Through investigation, a detective found evidence that Frederick inappropriately touched 2 juvenile female victims over the course of several years at a residence in Bayou Vista. One victim is of juvenile age and one is of adult age today. Frederick was located at his residence and transported to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City in reference to the investigation. He was subsequently arrested on the warrant and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Deontay Jones, 20, 528 Taft Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 22, 2017 at 9:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy assisting a Berwick Police Officer with a complaint on California Street encountered Jones and located the active warrant for his arrest. Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Jones was released on a $380 bond.

 

Michael L. Lisenby, 31, 157 Madison Lane, Kelly, LA was arrested on march 23, 2017 at 12:37 am for theft and remaining where forbidden. A deputy responded to a complaint of a person refusing to leave and causing a disturbance at a business on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned that the subject, identified as Lisenby, failed to pay for items that he consumed at the location and refused to leave after being asked to do so by an employee. Lisenby was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $1,500.
