Arrest Report - March 17, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Nicholas Hebert, 25, 307 Debaillon Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 16, 2017 at 11:11 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A correctional officer transported Hebert from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $500.

 

Michael A. Dean, 29, 7802 Alta Road, Iowa, LA was arrested on March 16, 2017 at 11:20 am for driving with a suspended license and speeding. A deputy monitoring traffic on US Highway 90 in Berwick observed a vehicle traveling 66 miles per hour in a posted 45 miles per hour construction zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and found that the driver, Dean, was operating the vehicle without a license. Dean was released on a summons to appear in court on June 13, 2017.

 

Beau Boudreaux, 38, 311 Willow Wood Drive, Lot #5, New Iberia, LA was arrested on march 16, 2017 at 7:25 pm on a warrant for nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Deputies received information about a subject who was wanted on a warrant and went to a business on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. Deputies encountered Boudreaux while searching for the other subject and located the active warrants for his arrest. The warrant for nonconsensual disclosure of a private image stems from an investigation into a complaint received in August of 2016. A deputy collected evidence that Boudreaux posted nude photos of a female victim online. Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Nathan A. Kaufman, 18, 761 South Houston Street, Aransas Pass, TX was arrested on March 17, 2017 at 5:18 am for the following offenses:

  • 2 counts contributing to the delinquency of juveniles
  • Stop sign violation
  • Speeding
  • No driver’s license 

 

De’antre D. Thomas, 18, 1602 South Church Street Unit #23, Rock Port, TX was arrested on March 17, 2017 at 5:18 am for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

 

Female juvenile, 15, Corpus Christi, TX was arrested on March 17, 2017 at for 5:34 am for runaway juvenile and curfew violation.

 

Female juvenile, 15, Ingleside, TX was arrested on March 17, 2017 at 5:34 am for curfew violation.

 

In Bayou Vista, a deputy observed a car traveling at a high rate of speed on Saturn Road. The deputy then observed the driver fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Saturn Road and Southeast Boulevard. The deputy stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver who was identified as Kaufman. The deputy found that Kaufman was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license. The deputy also made contact with 3 passengers: 1 male subject and 2 young female subjects. The females appeared to be juveniles. Additional deputies arrived to assist in the investigation. The male passenger was identified as Thomas. The 2 female passengers were identified as 15-year-old juveniles. Deputies found that the girls traveled with Kaufman and Thomas from Texas and that one of the juveniles was listed as a runaway through the Corpus Christi Police Department. Kaufman and Thomas were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set. Deputies contacted the juveniles’ parents and are working to return them to their guardians.
