Arrest Report - March 16, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Makayla Ruiz, 18, 1712 Rosario Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 8:27 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Parme McPherson, 19, 112 Felterman Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 8:27 am for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Juvenile female, 15, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 10:39 am for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Juvenile female, 16, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 10:39 am for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

A school resource officer responded to a report of a fight at Patterson High School. During the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Ruiz, McPherson, and 2 juveniles engaged in a physical encounter following an argument in the cafeteria. Ruiz and McPherson were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Both were released on a $1,000 bond. The juveniles were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Javien Francis, 19, 777 Oregon Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on march 15, 2017 at 1:07 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. While booking Francis at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Ricky Pillaro, 61, 812 First Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on march 15, 2017 at 3:37 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law, obstruction of justice, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pillaro was also charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the offenses of theft and criminal trespassing. A deputy located Pillaro at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrants. Pillaro was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Rickey Buteau, Jr., 32, 6 Moresei Alley, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on march 15, 2017 at 4:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of remaining where forbidden and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of angling without a license. A correctional officer transported Buteau from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. No bail is set.

 

Jason Vining, 18, 139 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 8:14 pm for possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

 

Dylan Ives, 21, 104 Ann Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on march 15, 2017 at 8:14 pm for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

 

Juvenile male, 15, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 15, 2017 at 8:14 pm for possession of marijuana.

 

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista developed information that 3 suspicious subjects entered the backyard of a residence on Clark Road and went into a shed. The deputy informed the resident and received consent to search the shed. Upon entering, the deputy found 3 male subjects, Vining, Ives, and the juvenile, smoking marijuana. The deputy located additional marijuana on Ives. Vining and Ives were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
