Arrest Report September 12, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Logan C. Barrilleaux, 22, 644 Russo Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on September 11, 2014 for reckless operation of a vehicle and failure to report a crash. A deputy patrolling the Centerville area responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Volume Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy located an unoccupied vehicle that appeared to have struck a tree. As the vehicle was being towed from the area, the owner, identified as Barrilleaux, returned to the scene. Following an investigation, the deputy determined that Barrilleaux lost control of the truck, travelled off of the roadway, and struck a tree. Barrilleaux then left the scene and failed to report the crash. Barrilleaux was released on a summons to appear in court on November 24, 2014.

 

A juvenile male, 15, of Patterson, LA and another juvenile male, 15, of Bayou Vista, LA were arrested on September 11, 2014 at 7:56 am for disturbing the peace (fighting).

A deputy responded to a report of a fight at Patterson High School. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the two juveniles were involved in an argument in the cafeteria that escalated into a physical encounter. Both juveniles were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Kayla M. Aucoin, 20, 1015 Third Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 11, 2014 at 4:27 pm for theft of goods.

 

Danielle Jones, 27, 562 Ehrlich Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on September 11, 2014 at 4:27 pm for theft of goods.

 

A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Aucoin and Jones were seen concealing items in their purses before attempting to leave the store without paying for the goods. Both Aucoin and Jones were released on summonses to appear in court on November 24, 2014.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                                        

Raymond Miller, III, 24, 335 Franklin Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 11, 2014 at 12:13 pm on the following charges:

- Possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids) with intent to distribute

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of juveniles

- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana) fourth offense

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute, obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal use, consumption, possession or distribution of CDS in presence of person under 17 years of age

Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division located Miller at a business in Amelia on the warrant. During the arrest, detectives located several packs of synthetic cannabinoids and items of drug paraphernalia on Miller's person. Miller was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
