According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour Veterans Day weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Tanner Aucoin, 20, 1210 Columbus Avenue, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 14, 2016 at 11:41 am on 5 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Aucoin at his residence on the warrants and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500,000.
Dicie Fulks, 32, 272 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 14, 2016 at 9:32 am for careless operation of a motor vehicle, no motor vehicle insurance, and resisting an officer (giving false information). On November 10, 2016, a deputy investigated a single vehicle crash on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista near the city limits of Patterson. The deputy made contact with Fulks who claimed to be a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The deputy later found evidence that Fulks was driving the car when she lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway. The deputy also found that Fulks was operating the vehicle without insurance. Fulks was released on a summons to appear in court on February 3, 2017.
