According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Eulalia McCoy, 21, 109 Vista Village Lane #25, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 20, 2016 at 1:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of identity theft and theft of assets of an aged or disabled person. McCoy was also charged on a warrant for failure to appear for resisting an officer by providing false information, no seat belt, improper child restraint, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. A correctional officer located the active warrants for McCoy who was being housed at the Morgan City Police Department jail on unrelated charges. Bail on the warrant charges is set at $2,000.
Dean A. Daigle, 51, 601 Egle Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 20, 2016 at 9:35 am on 5 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Daigle turned himself in to a deputy at his residence. Daigle was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500,000.
