Arrest Report - September 22, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Brittany Fisher, 26, 910 Omni Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 10:15 am on a warrant for failure to failure to appear for a drug court status conference. A deputy made contact with Fisher at a location on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia and located the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Fisher to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $100,000.

 

Terry Caudill, Jr., 31, 914 Main Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 1:47 pm on a warrant for theft. Caudill turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. The warrant was issued following an investigation into a complaint of a theft. The detective found evidence that Caudill used a company charge account to purchase gas at a store in the Jeanerette area without the company’s permission. Caudill was released on a summons to appear in court on December 14, 2016.

 

John P. May, Jr., 26, 102 Janet Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 8:25 pm on 2 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy was dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Second Street in Amelia and made contact with May. While speaking with him, the deputy located the 2 active warrants for his arrest. May was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $200,000.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

Miles J. Borel, 42, 132 Venus St. Apt 2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 7:48 pm for the following offenses:

 

- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

- Possession of Schedule II (oxycodone) with intent to distribute

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of Schedule II (Fentanyl)

- Possession of Schedule III (Subutex)

 

Maryann M. Norris, 26, 132 Venus Street, Apt 2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 7:48 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Krystal L. Meranta, 27, 206 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 21, 2016 at 7:48 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section began an investigation into possible illegal drug activity at Borel’s residence. Detectives executed a search warrant at 132 Venus St, Apt 2 in Bayou Vista and located bags of marijuana, oxycodone pills, a glass pipe, a Fentanyl patch, and Subutex pill. The drugs were located within 2,000 feet of a church. Borel was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Norris and Meranta were released on summonses to appear in court on December 14, 2016.
