Arrest Report September 5, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Demarcus McNeal, 17, Morgan City, LA was charged on September 4, 2014 at 10:52 am on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division served the warrant dated September 3, 2014 at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center where McNeal is incarcerated. 

 

Jermaine Gaskins, 34, 129 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 3:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Gaskins at a business on LA Highway 70 in Morgan City on the warrants. The deputy transported Gaskins to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Logan Charpentier, 22, 1533 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 3:37 pm on five warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Charpentier was brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking by another law enforcement agency. During booking, a deputy learned of the five active warrants for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Phillip Encalade, 30, 1926 West Homestead Drive, New Orleans, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 5:35 pm on the following charges:

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana

- Warrant for probation violation

A deputy transported Encalade from the Orleans parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. No bail is set.

 

Latanya Mitchell, 34, 1110 Plantation Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 9:01 pm on a Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for monetary instrument abuse and on a warrant for failure to appear. A deputy learned of the active warrants for Mitchell’s arrest during a traffic stop on LA Highway 182 in Centerville. The deputy transported Mitchell to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                                                   

Craig Albarado, 50, 602 Leona Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 4:48 pm for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone).

 

George Harvey, 32, 1011 Ramos Street, Siracusaville, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 4:48 pm on the following charges:

- Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

- Possession of a counterfeit controlled dangerous substance

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

 

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Morgan City area observed a vehicle on Terrebonne Street fail to signal a turn and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with the occupants of vehicle, Albarado and Harvey, who both began fidgeting inside the vehicle. During the subsequent investigation, detectives recovered a bag of methamphetamine. Detectives also located a cellophane bag containing counterfeit crack cocaine belonging to Harvey. Albarado and Harvey were both transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

April L. Aucoin, 34, 602 Leona St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 4, 2014 at 10:05 pm on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at 602 Leona Street in Morgan City and located methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia included syringes and baggies. Aucoin was not present at the time of the search warrant and an arrest warrant was obtained for her arrest. Aucoin was later located at a residence on Cremo Lane in Patterson. Aucoin was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
