Arrest Report - September 14, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 51 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Mark White, 33 Franklin, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on September 13, 2016 at 8:20 am.

 

Howard Gabriel, 53, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on September 13, 2016 at 8:20 am.

 

Tyrone Thomas, 52, Morgan City, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on September 13, 2016 at 8:20 am.

 

John Lejeune, 28, Branch, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on September 13, 2016 at 8:20 am.

 

A correctional officer observed inmates White, Gabriel, Thomas, and Lejeune hit another inmate during an argument. All four inmates remain incarcerated with no bail set.

 

Matthew Freeman, 34, 104 Live Oak Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 9:03 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a motor vehicle not covered by insurance. A deputy assisting Baldwin Police with a traffic stop on Bollard Street made contact with Freeman and located the active warrant for his arrest. Freeman was transported to the parish jail for booking. Freeman was released on a $500 bond.

 

Jude Boudreaux, 17, 3876 Highway 923, Jonesville, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 12:36 pm for theft of assets of an aged or disabled person, no driver’s license on person, and proper equipment required on vehicle.

 

Russell Aucoin, III, 20, 4903 Alta B Drive, Centerville, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 12:36 pm for theft of assets of an aged or disabled person.

 

Summer Gaudet, 21, 2211 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 12:36 pm for theft of assets of an aged or disabled person.

 

A deputy was dispatched to a report of a theft at a residence in Amelia. The dispatcher relayed description of the vehicle that may have been involved in the crime. The deputy located the suspect pick-up truck on Duhon Boulevard and made contact with three occupants, Boudreaux, Aucoin, and Gaudet. All three were detained pending the theft investigation. The deputy collected evidence that the trio stole a generator from an elderly victim. The generator was located in the bed of the truck. Boudreaux, Aucoin, and Gaudet were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set. The stolen item was returned to the owner.

 

Kason L. Johnson, 30, 5052 North bayou Black Drive, Gibson, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 2:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A correctional officer transported Johnson from the Terrebonne Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Johnson was released on a $3,500 bond.

 

Jermoud Watts, 26, Siracusa, LA was additionally charged with criminal damage to property on September 13, 2016 at 3:12 pm. Correctional officers observed inmate Watts damage a window of a jail cell. Watts remains incarcerated with no bail set.

 

Anthony Pinell, 28, 119 Pinell Marina Lane, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 13, 2016 at 12:10 pm on a warrant for simple battery, theft, and criminal mischief. A deputy responded to a report of a battery that occurred at a residence in the Baldwin area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Pinell grabbed a female victim by the face causing minor injuries. Pinell then destroyed a computerized key to the victim’s vehicle and struck the car causing damage to it. As the investigation progressed, the deputy also collected evidence that Pinell also stole a couch from the victim. Pinell was transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

The following arrest was made on September 12, 2016.

Ryan J. Savell, 32, 6556 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested at 6:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (fighting). A correctional officer transported Savell from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. No bail is set.
