Arrest Report- August 31, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrest:

 

Mark Rentrop, 24, 331 Highway 663, Bayou L'ourse LA, was arrested on August 30, 2016 at 3:11pm on a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of possession of methamphetamine, violation of uniform CDS law in a drug-free zone, illegal use/consumption/possession or distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rentrop was transported from the Assumption Parish Jail to the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville for booking. No bail is set.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests: 

Jordan Vidos, 24, 1124 4th St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on August 31, 2016 at 12:00am for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and for a St Mary Parish warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of no driver’s license.

Quandon Favors, 28, 1621 Tournament Boulevard Apt #21, Berwick LA, was arrested on August 31, 2016 at 12:00am for possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Terrel Irving, 18, 315 Garber St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on August 31, 2016 at 12:00am for possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Kurwin Webb, 22, 1041 Grace St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on August 31, 2016 at 12:00am or possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

 

St Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The suspicious vehicle was located on Highway 182 in Morgan City and a traffic stop was conducted. A search ensued and deputies found marijuana and a pistol inside the vehicle. All occupants, Vidos, Favors, Irving and Webb, were placed under arrest. Further investigation revealed that Vidos had a suspended driver’s license and that there was an active warrant for his arrest in St Mary Parish. All were arrested and transported to the parish jail. No bail is set for Vidos, Favors, Irving or Webb.
