Arrest Report- August 29, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 98 complaints and reports the following arrest:

 

Martin Robertson, 29, 4274 Highway 83, Glencoe LA, was arrested on August 26, 2016 at 7:40am for driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling the Glencoe area observed the driver of a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Highway 83. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Robertson. Robertson was found to be driving under suspension. He was released on a summons to appear in court on November 21, 2016.

 

Allegra Ackerman, 35, 726 Parish Rd 131, Centerville LA, was arrested on August 26, 2016 at 1:22pm for a warrant on the charge of unauthorized use of an access card. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in Garden City. The deputy made contact with the driver, Ackerman, and confirmed the active warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation initiated earlier in the month. It was learned that Ackerman used someone else’s credit card at several different locations in the parish without the cardholder’s permission. Disputed charges on the card totaled $1,037.95. Ackerman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Kelly Kendall, 25, 1382 New Genesee Rd, Tickfaw LA, was arrested on August 26, 2016 at 3:27pm on a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids. Kendall was transported from Tangipahoa parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville for booking. No bail is set.

 

Jessica Everage, 35, 2485 unit #19 River Road, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on August 26, 2016 at 9:53pm on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. Deputies patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a report of two women fighting in the front yard of a residence on Clarke Rd in Bayou Vista. Deputies learned that Everage was involved in a fight with a “Yakendra Wallace”. Everage was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $250.

 

Yakendra Wallace, 26, 109 Guzzette Dr, Berwick LA, was arrested on August 26, 2016 at 9:53pm on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. Deputies patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a report of two women fighting in the front yard of a residence on Clarke Rd in Bayou Vista. Deputies learned that Wallace was involved in a fight with a “Jessice Everage”. Wallace was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $250 bail.

 

Henry Wayne Truelove, 31, 132 Grey Eagle Rd #1, Charenton LA, was arrested on August 28, 2016 at 1:29pm on the following charges:

-Careless operation of a motor vehicle

-License plate switched

-Driving under suspension

-No vehicle insurance

-Possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicle

A deputy assigned to patrol the Charenton area responded to a single vehicle crash on Chitimacha Trail. The deputy located the crash and made contact with the driver, Truelove. The deputy learned that Truelove had a suspended driver’s license, no vehicle insurance and that the license plate on his vehicle belonged to a trailer. Upon further investigation, the deputy found an open bottle of liquor in the front driver’s seat. Truelove was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $2500.
