Arrest Report - August 24, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Cody Groves, 35, 272 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 23, 2016 at 3:51 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing. A deputy located Groves at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Groves was released on a $750 bond.

 

Shawn Boudreaux, 37, 179 Martin Road, Verdunville, LA was arrested on August 23, 2016 at 4:48 pm on a warrant for parole violation. A deputy located Boudreaux at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.

 

Durell Alexander, 38, 515 St. Peter Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on August 23, 2016 at 5:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of failure to obey traffic control signals and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the warrant for his arrest. Alexander was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

Samuel Lacoste, 38, 129 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 23, 2016 at 7:03 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of hit and run driving and careless operation of a motor vehicle. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the warrant for his arrest. Bail is set at $1,500.

 

Jamarkus James, 25, 2207 Neco Town Road, New Iberia, LA was arrested on August 23, 2016 at 10:39 pm for tail lights required and no insurance. A deputy patrolling Baldwin observed a vehicle on Highway 182 with a tail light that was not functioning. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, James. While speaking with him, the deputy discovered that James was driving the vehicle without insurance. James was released on a summons to appear in court on November 21, 2016.
