Arrest Report- August 18, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrest:

 

 

Teresa McNeal, 46, 200 Third St, Morgan City LA was arrested on August 17, 2016 at 10:11am on a warrant for failing to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without properly lit lamps for conditions and on a warrant for failing to appear on charges of smoking with infant in vehicle and no child restraint. McNeal presented herself to the Sheriff’ Office in Morgan City. She was later transported to the parish jail for booking. McNeal was released on a $5,350 bond.

 

Crystal Ledet, 33, 202 S Railroad Ave, Morgan City LA, was arrested on August 17, 2016 at 1:42pm on charges of theft of goods. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area responded to a report of theft at a local business. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Ledet had $211.79 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart and attempted to leave the business without paying for the items. Ledet was later relased after posting a $1,000 bond.

 

John Lacoste III, 32, 5712 Lot #3 Highway 182, Franklin LA, was arrested on August 17, 2016 at 7:31pm for a warrant on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Deputies patrolling the Franklin area located Lacoste at a residence. Deputies learned that Lacoste had an active warrant for his arrest. Lacoste was transported to the parish jail for booking. Lacoste was released on a $2,151.45 bail.

 

Dylon Chellette, 22, 1320 Federal Avenue, Morgan City LA, was arrested on August 17, 2016 at 9:40pm for obstruction of justice. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area conducted a traffic stop on Highway 182. During the course of the stop, the deputy made contact with an occupant of the vehicle, Chellette. The deputy learned that Chellette ate two partially burnt marijuana cigarettes. Chellette was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
