Arrest Report August 29, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

(SEE PREVIOUS RELEASE) Damarcus McNeal, 17, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 28, 2014 at 10:02 am on the additional charge of possession of Schedule II (oxycodone). Following his arrest on the warrant for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, McNeal was found to be in possession of the drug. McNeal was transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Kasie Dubois, 32, 136 Oak Forest Drive, Gibson, LA was arrested on August 28, 2014 at 10:53 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace. She was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Taylor Murphy, 19, 151 Greenleaf Boulevard, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 28, 2014 at 11:37 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of violation of a protective order. Bail is set at $7,500.

 

Alicia Gilmer, 20, 144 Rayne Court, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 28, 2014 at 11:37 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

A deputy transported Dubois, Murphy, and Gilmer from Assumption Parish to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrants.

 

Larry Hampton, 28, Gibson, LA was charged with 2 counts simple criminal damage to property on August 28, 2014 at 1:45 pm. Hampton is an inmate at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. On August 26, 2014, Hampton struck a window with a handle of a dust mop causing damage to it. Hampton remains incarcerated.
